AHLEM is an eyewear brand founded in Los Angeles in 2014 by Ahlem Manai-Platt, a Parisian designer. The inspiration for creating the brand came during a conversation in Paris with friends after she lost her vintage eyewear. The brand has distinguished itself with handmade frames and designs that go beyond trends. The Place Dauphine model features an oval shape with an Art Deco-style bridge. The frame is made from a single piece of metal, electro-dipped in palladium and plated with 22 gold . The temples are openwork carved and engraved with the brand's signature.
